We are starting a new tradition at the KCPOMC meetings-on the month of your loved ones birthday please feel free to bring refreshments, a cake or anything else that was a tradition on your loved ones birthday to share with the group! You may also bring photos or reminders that show us what your loved one was like. So often at meetings we only hear about the awful thing that happened to our loved ones. This is a chance for us to see what they were like before this horrible tragedy!

This information will not be used for solicitation, we will only use your email address for meeting reminders and special event reminders or if we feel there is information that you may be interested in. KCPOMC is pleased to announce that the KCMO Police Dept Homicide Unit has agreed to send a homicide detective to each of our meetings-if they are not called out to work a case. They will be here to observe and answer questions. The hope is that their observations will better help them to help victims families. They will not be able to answer questions about specific cases.
